PR Card Renewal

Renew or replace your PR card while preserving residency obligations.

Overview

Your PR card is your proof of permanent resident status in Canada. It must be renewed every 5 years to maintain your ability to travel internationally and return to Canada. Nexora Pathways ensures your renewal application is properly prepared, your residency obligation is met, and your status remains secure.

Requirements

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a permanent resident of Canada
  • Must have been physically present in Canada for at least 730 days within the past 5 years
  • Time spent outside Canada may count if accompanying a Canadian citizen spouse or working for a Canadian business abroad
  • Must not have a removal order or be under investigation for loss of PR status

How It Works

Our Process

1

Residency Obligation Review

We calculate your days of physical presence in Canada and determine whether you meet the 730-day residency obligation.

2

Application Preparation

We complete all forms, gather supporting documents, and prepare a residency declaration if your situation is complex.

3

Submission

We submit your PR card renewal application to IRCC and track its progress through processing.

4

Card Delivery

Once approved, your new PR card is mailed to your Canadian address. We verify receipt and confirm your renewal is complete.
